Chelsea Green has reacted to being cast in a horror thriller alongside Rory Culkin.
The former WWE Women’s United States Champion has joined the cast of Josh Stolberg’s Red Wedding. Green first broke the news during a conversation with Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Candace Cordelia ahead of WrestleMania 42.
“I’m gonna tell what I’m most excited for. I would do anything with anybody. I feel the same way about acting as I do about wrestling. Like, I just wanna get out there and do it and build a resume. I just got a role in a horror film…spoiler…spoiler…I film in a couple of weeks. It’s gory as hell and I can’t wait,” Green said.
Chelsea Green recently took to X to react to Stolberg’s announcement regarding Red Wedding. The WWE SmackDown star described the project as incredible and expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside Rory Culkin (Scream 4), Lauren LaVera (Terrifier), and the rest of the cast.
“This project was incredible. I learned so much, I grew as a new actress and I feel blessed to have been chosen to work alongside Josh, Lauren, Rory and so many other talented humans!!” Green posted.
Chelsea Green was most recently seen in action on WWE RAW in Paris, France, where she competed in a first-round Queen of the Ring match. During the closing moments, Green hit Becky Lynch with the Unprettier, but Liv Morgan capitalized on the situation and rolled Green up for the victory.
