Mercedes Moné Tops PWI Women’s 250; Top 10 Revealed

The day has come for Pro Wrestling Illustrated to honor the top women in professional wrestling.

Topping this year’s PWI Women’s 250 list is AEW star Mercedes Moné, who has racked up an impressive collection of titles this year, including the CMLL World Women’s Championship, RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, and EWA Women’s Championship. In AEW, Moné has surpassed 500 days as TBS Champion.

Trailing right behind Moné is her AEW colleague Toni Storm, who spent seven months as AEW Women’s Champion during the evaluation period (October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025). Storm drops one spot on the list, having topped the 2024 edition.

Rounding out the top five is World of Stardom Champion Saya Kamitani, who now also reigns as the NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, former WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, and current WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. Vaquer held the NXT Women’s and Women’s North American Championships before elevating to WWE’s main roster earlier this year.

The top ten, in order, is as follows:

  • Mercedes Moné
  • Toni Storm
  • Saya Kamitani
  • Tiffany Stratton
  • Stephanie Vaquer
  • IYO Sky
  • Athena
  • Sareee
  • Naomi
  • Rhea Ripley

IYO SKY, Rhea Ripley, and Naomi each held the WWE Women’s World Championship in 2025. SKY and Ripley were also involved in a critically acclaimed triple threat performance alongside Bianca Belair at WWE WrestleMania 41. Within the evaluation period, Sareee carried a number of titles, including the Marigold World and IWGP Women’s Championship. Athena has remained the ROH Women’s World Champion since December 2022.
