Jim Ross Shares Positive Health Update

Jim Ross says he’s feeling better than he has in a long time.

After recovering from “a hell of a fall,” Jim Ross is back in the saddle. During a new episode of his Grilling JR podcast, the Hall of Famer was asked about his health by host Conrad Thompson.

“I’m better,” Ross said. “I’m better than I’ve been in a long time — feel good. I’m glad to be back on the air with you guys.”

When asked if he was in his home in Jacksonville, Florida, Ross revealed that he had sold his condominium.

“No, I actually have some new news,” he said. “I finally sold my condo in Jacksonville. We’ll be closing on that in a few days. We got our money out of it, and somebody’s going to be very happy with what they’re buying. So it’s going to be good. I’m excited about it.

“I feel good, though. I feel good about being home. I feel healthier than I have in a long time. I’ve got plenty of energy, and I’m thankful to be back on the air.”

Jim Ross signed a new contract with AEW

Ross previously revealed that he signed a new contract with All Elite Wrestling that will run through August 2026.

“I signed a new (AEW) contract for a year, got that done before I left [to address his recent health issues]. One year, [it runs through] next summer. Next August, I think it is.”

Ross took a break from AEW earlier this year to have his colon cancer surgically removed.
