John Cena had a hilarious response to fans chanting “Shut the f*ck up’ at Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW.
John Cena kicked off WWE RAW for the last time as he made his way out to address the crowd at Madison Square Garden on this week’s episode. However, his interaction was cut short after Dominik Mysterio confronted Cena to demand a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship.
The fans didn’t take too kindly to Mysterio’s interference and erupted in ‘Shut the f*ck up’ chants. John Cena took things into his own hands and came up with a humorous response, saying the fans were chanting ‘Choco Fun Cup‘ and asked Netflix not to bleep them out.
“Netflix, they’re saying Choco Fun Cup, just in case you want to bleep it. It’s Choco Fun Cup, keep it on the air.”
John Cena then went on to accept Dominik Mysterio’s challenge for an Intercontinental Championship rematch at Survivor Series: WarGames.
John Cena Says He Pitched The Idea Of Other Wrestlers Having Exhibition Matches In His Retirement Show
John Cena’s final match will take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C. on December 13. Apart from being a tribute show for Cena, SNME will also feature main roster superstars having exhibition matches against NXT wrestlers.
Speaking on Raw Recap, John Cena revealed that he pitched the idea to Triple H, saying he wanted to expose the WWE Universe to the future of the company as he makes his way out.
“Forever, the tradition has been your last match, you go out and you’re back and you do the honors and that’s it. No, I think we can do more,” Cena said. “We can take the eyes that care about showing up to our show and expose them to the future and what’s next. I love The Time Is Now tournament, that we have some way to earn the chance to be to qualify as my last opponent.
“I really want to take my hats off to Triple H, I called him up, I said, ‘I got an idea. We got to do two hours for the tribute show, and if you do a whole John Cena tribute, two things are going to happen. You’re either going to do too much or too little. You’re never going to please everybody. I would like to propose that we have big name WWE Superstars fight in exhibition matches versus the brightest in NXT so that way we have a sold out building.’”
