Ric Flair can’t say enough good things about Tony Khan.
Speaking to Casino Beats in a new interview, Flair was asked what it’s like working with Khan.
The former multi-time World Champion had nothing but praise for the AEW President, noting that Tony Khan genuinely cares about his employees.
“I can’t say enough good things about him,” Flair said. “He is fantastic, and he is just a total gentleman, and I think he legitimately cares about everybody. They’re not just a number to him. I think he legitimately cares about everybody that works for him.”
Flair was also asked how he’d compare working with Tony Khan to his run under former WWE owner and promoter Vince McMahon.
“The difference between the two products at the minute is not just the technology, but it’s time as well,” he noted. “WWE/WWF has been around forever, and it’d be very difficult to overtake them. They have so much momentum, and now they have this new deal with ESPN. But I think it’s great for the business and for the guys that have an opportunity to work in other places as well.”
Ric Flair most recently made an appearance for Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling at the Dynamite: Blood and Guts special in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Nature Boy had to leave early due to being in “a ton of pain” from a recently torn rotator cuff.
