Nick Khan Explains How This WWE Star Earned John Cena’s Respect

Nick Khan recently revealed how Logan Paul earned John Cena’s respect after their match at WWE Clash in Paris.

Speaking on Impaulsive podcast, Khan shared that he asked Cena before the match what he thought of Logan. Cena refused to answer until after they worked together. A few hours later, Cena called Khan and gave Paul a big compliment.

He said, “Going into that match I said ‘give me your feelings on Logan’. He said ‘I’ll let you know after the match’. Called me maybe an hour or two after the match.” Khan said Cena told him, “He has it.”

He explained that Cena never doubted Logan’s physical ability. “It was never ‘does he have the physical skills do it’, in ring, everyone knows you’ve put in the time and you can do it. But for John it was can you work the crowd with him? Can you give and take with him? “

“Do you know how to follow direction and take the lead? I think, certainly from this seat, you proved yourself to him, and I find life is proving yourself over and over. Khan added, “So you got Cena’s validation, which to me meant a lot. By the way we expected that you would get his validation.” [H/T: Wrestletalk]

Cena defeated Logan Paul in a highly praised match in Paris, with both men paying tribute to several wrestlers including Nic Nemeth, Claudio Castagnoli, Christopher Daniels, Bishop Dyer and AJ Styles.

John Cena now has only a few appearances left in his career. His final match will take place on December 13 at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, where he’ll face the winner of the Last Time Is Now tournament either Gunther or LA Knight. Many fans WWE plans for Gunther to be Cena’s final opponent.
