Becky Lynch has been dishing out a lot of trash talk on social media as of late, but how well will be be able to take it in return?
The former WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion hasn’t been making any friends lately online, going out of her way to attack and belittle those who don’t agree with the way she’s currently handling her title loss to Maxxine Dupri.
Becky Lynch took to social media yesterday to attack the host of Busted Open Radio, Dave LaGreca, and RAW Superstar Natalya, tweeting out:
“No wonder @bustedopenradio’s ratings are THE LOWEST THEY’VE EVER BEEN! @davidlagreca1 missed a golden opportunity to ask @NatbyNature about her terrible student STEALING my title due to OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE (EVERYBODY SAW IT!!!). Do they really teach THAT at the Dungeon?! If so they should SHUT IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!! DESPERATE FOR RATINGS DAVE AND NASTY NATTY SHOULD BE ASHAMED,” Becky Lynch said in a post.
Dave LaGreca fires back at The Man
Never one to let an attack of this nature go unnoticed, LaGreca fired off one of his trademark rants today on Busted Open Radio in response to Lynch’s comments.
“Now she’s tagging me on her posts,” Dave LaGreca said. “Like before, she just mentioned Dave and then a derogatory term. Now she’s actually posting and tagging me on it. Listen, you know, Bully, I have all the respect in the world for Becky Lynch. You know, Becky Lynch is one of the greatest. I mean, she main-evented WrestleMania, the first ever to do it, and she won the match.
“She’s an 11-time World Women’s Champion. So I feel like, and I mean this in the most respectful way possible, she is at a crossroads in her career. She really is. A lot of people are saying, hey, wake up. You’re Becky Lynch. Look at what you’ve accomplished. Look at the way you’re acting. It doesn’t mix. I look at a completely different, Bully. I think what Becky Lynch needs to do is forget about her past, forget about all her accomplishments, and forget about her accolades. She needs to make a change. And she needs to make it fast.
A complete reset for Becky Lynch?
“She needs a complete and total reset in her career. She needs to go on a completely different path, because the one that she’s on right now is a dark one. Listen, facts are facts. You are no longer the Intercontinental — you’re chasing a ghost. The fact that you need to hire lawyers to get your Intercontinental Championship back; that’s what losers do.
“What you should be doing, which you haven’t done, is say to Maxxine Dupri, give me my rematch, and let’s face each other in the ring. Instead, she’s going this back door way in order to get her championship title back. I’m sorry that doesn’t work. That’s not the way winners handle situations. Be a winner. Don’t be a loser. Earn your championship back.
“Face the facts. You lost it. Now, whether you agree with it or not, that doesn’t matter. You no longer hold that Intercontinental Championship. So go to Maxxine Dupri, get your rematch. Don’t boycott Monday Night RAW and say I’m not showing up on TV. Because, let me tell you something. This is a huge wheel, and the WWE moves quickly.
“We’re saying goodbye to John Cena on Saturday. You think we’re going to be talking about John Cena a month from now? Two months from now? We’re going to be caught up in the stories and the feuds and WrestleMania season and the Rumble. That’s what fans are going to be thinking about. You could be easily forgotten.
LaGreca goes nuclear on Lynch
“As much of a legend as you are, like that the fans can forget about you. So what you need to do is stop complaining, stop whining. Get in the fucking ring and get your Intercontinental Championship back. If you’re not going to do it, then shut the f*ck up! Shut up! Nobody wants to hear you whining and complaining anymore! And you’re gonna tag me?! F*ck it! I’m tagging you! Shut the f*ck up! Get in the ring, beat Maxxine Dupri, and get your Intercontinental Championship back! Do it the right way.
“Do it the way that Becky Lynch would do it. Because I don’t know who this person is. It’s not the Becky Lynch that was up in the stands with a bloody face. It’s not the Becky Lynch that was holding the championship over her head at WrestleMania.
Will Becky Lynch confront Dave LaGreca at Saturday Night’s Main Event?
“I will physically be in the arena tomorrow night, Saturday Night’s Main Event. I will be there physically. If you have something to say, I will be there. And I will be respectful, but there’s only so much I can take. Because the problem is, this is a one-way battle. You could go on social media and discredit me and throw my name and tag me, but I don’t have the opportunity to do it back to you, because you won’t come on the air and you won’t stand in front of me face-to-face.
“I will be in the arena in Washington, DC, for Saturday Night’s Main Event. Hopefully, as two people that respect one another, we could get past this. We can move on, and maybe just listen to some advice from a fan of yours, earn your championship back. Earn it back, because if you get it back through lawyers and politicking, it’s going to be meaningless. It’s going to mean nothing. Win your championship back. Get it back the right way, period. End the story.”
Lynch has yet to respond to LaGreca’s comments as of this writing.
