Mick Foley recently took to social media to comment on the shocking deaths of Rob and Michele Reiner, and slammed President Donald Trump in the process.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Foley commented on Trump’s statement on Reiner’s passing. In a controversial post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said that Reiner had “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” The post has since caused quite the controversy, with many criticising Trump for making it.
Foley shared a post made by musician Jack White, who called Trump a “disgusting, vile, egomaniac loser, child,” and echoed his words, while also wondering how any WWE star can still stand next to Trump.
“What [Jack White] said here is spot on,” Foley’s post wrote. “How any of my [WWE] colleagues can stand by, let alone stand next to this man is beyond me.”
Trump and WWE are no strangers to one another. The President infamously appeared in a feud with Vince McMahon many years ago, and even as President, has been tied to the company. Ahead of WrestleMania 41, Roman Reigns talked briefly about his support of Trump, and earlier this year, Triple H visited the White House.
