A WWE star’s attempt at The Undertaker’s signature move went hilariously wrong.
The Vision’s Bronson Reed took on CM Punk at the WWE Live Holiday Tour event in Tampa, Florida, on December 27. The 37-year-old couldn’t defeat the World Heavyweight Champion at the show, and also couldn’t perform The Undertaker’s signature sit-up.
After the match, Bronson Reed tried to channel The Undertaker’s supernatural energy as he lay on the mat. He tried to sit up like the Deadman, but gravity was not in favor of the 330-pound WWE star, who comically flopped back to the mat.
Bronson Reed then tagged The Undertaker on X/Twitter, sharing the clip with the WWE legend with the caption, “It didn’t work @undertaker.”
The Undertaker Taught Controversial WWE RAW Guest About Death
Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who has made several guest appearances in WWE, recently appeared on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story podcast. He opened up about his WWE fandom as a child and shared that he learned about the concept of death from The Undertaker.
“I learned about death from The Undertaker. I had no idea what a coffin was or what a cemetery was, and then there I am, at six or seven years, and he’s building a coffin because he’s facing Kamala. So, I didn’t even know what a coffin was. There I am, a little kid, and I’m like, ‘Wait, what is he doing? He’s building this thing, and we get put in that when we die? And then you get put in dirt? Six feet in the ground?’ And I’m trying to put this all together
“Anyway, I became obsessed. We have this old piano that must’ve been in my house forever. But long story short, you know how the piano benches lift up? They have a thing with books in them. So, I took nails, and I sealed it shut because I was doing my own impression of The Undertaker, and my mom went ballistic,” Hinchcliffe told the former WWE Chairwoman.
