Demolition’s Smash Calls For Former Teammate’s WWE Hall of Fame Induction

Demolition‘s Smash is campaigning for a former stablemate’s WWE Hall of Fame induction.

Demolition finally received their long-overdue WWE Hall of Fame induction during WrestleMania 42 week in April. However, missing from the induction was the group’s third member, Crush, the late Brian Adams.

Crush joined the group as the third member in 1990, allowing them to exercise the “Freebird Rule.” Although he was initially introduced as Ax’s replacement, Brian Adams would eventually move on to a solo run following Demolition’s disbandment.

Appearing on Wrestling Life with Ben Veal, Demolition’s Smash (Barry Darsow) discussed his former tag team partner and whether he believes Crush will ever receive a solo WWE Hall of Fame induction.

“I hope so,” Darsow said. “It’s the same thing that I was saying earlier.

“There’s so many good singles wrestlers and tag team wrestlers. Who do they pick next? Brian was such a good guy. He was a good wrestler.

“He was a lot of characters up there. I hope he gets in. He has a lot of friends up there and him and The Undertaker were pretty tight.

“Who knows? I hope so.”

Darsow also recently praised Adams in a post on X, reflecting on his memories of his former tag team partner and keeping his legacy in mind.

The Undertaker referenced Brian Adams in his WWE Hall of Fame induction speech in 2022, recalling the last time he saw Adams when they broke bricks together in 2007. Adams passed away on August 13, 2007, with his cause of death reported as combined drug intoxication.
