Je’Von Evans’ mother could not be more proud of her son.
The Young OG was officially called up to the main roster last night on WWE RAW. During a commercial break, General Manager Adam Pearce appeared to hype Evans as the newest signing to the red brand.
Evans then made his way to the ring and put pen to paper. However, some fans criticized WWE for airing the segment during a commercial break. International viewers were able to witness the signing live, while fans in the United States only learned about it after the segment had concluded.
The reaction to Evans joining RAW was not entirely negative, as many fans praised WWE’s decision to bring him to the brand. Je’Von previously made his RAW in-ring debut against Gunther as part of The Last Time Is Now Tournament.
As fans celebrated Je’Von Evans’ arrival on the main roster, The Young OG’s mother took to Facebook to share a congratulatory message for her son.
“The first time our son signed his WWE (NXT) contract, it was on our kitchen table with the ‘Fantastic 4’ there to witness. The second WWE contract he signed…..was last night, for RAW…..and was in front of the entire world!!!! 2 years…..from kitchen tables to major stages but even years before was PUTTING IN WORK! We ALWAYS knew…..the world is just catching up!!! Malachi Jeffers, proud is a WHOLE UNDERSTATEMENT! Soar son, SOAR,” she wrote.
Je’Von Evans last competed on WWE NXT in December 2025. He is not currently announced to compete at New Year’s Evil later tonight, and fans will have to wait and see whether he makes a cameo appearance on the show.
