Je’Von Evans didn’t hide his emotions after falling short on the July 13 episode of WWE RAW.
Following another missed opportunity in a high-stakes match, the rising star shared a brief but revealing message that hinted his patience may be wearing thin.
The setback came in a No. 1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match, where the winner would earn an Intercontinental Championship opportunity. While Evans stayed in the fight, he couldn’t punch his ticket to the title picture, leaving fans wondering what comes next.

The gauntlet match ended with Chad Gable forcing Ethan Page to submit, securing the championship opportunity and leaving the rest of the field empty-handed. For Evans, it marked another near miss in a match with significant stakes.
Not long after RAW went off the air, Evans took to his Instagram Stories with a straightforward message: “Tired of losing.”
The post reflected growing frustration after several high-profile defeats in recent months. Earlier this year, Evans competed in the King of the Ring tournament before earning another chance to move into the Intercontinental Championship picture on RAW. Neither opportunity resulted in the breakthrough he was chasing.
Despite the disappointment, Evans’ overall record hasn’t been defined by losses. He has continued to pick up victories on RAW, suggesting his frustration stems less from his week-to-week performances and more from falling short when the stakes are highest. As the saying goes, he’s been close enough to hear the bell, but not yet close enough to ring it.
This isn’t the first time Evans has been candid about his struggles. Previously, he revealed that he was 0-12 in championship matches across WWE, TNA, and AAA. At the time, he said he preferred sharing the ring with legends and learning from those experiences rather than dwelling on the numbers.
His latest post, however, struck a different tone. Rather than reflecting on the journey, Evans focused on the result. With SummerSlam season heating up, the young star now faces another challenge — turning frustration into momentum before the next opportunity comes knocking.
