WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker recalled a hilarious in-ring moment with The Rock from their time working together.
The Undertaker and The Rock faced each other many times and shared several major storylines during the Attitude Era. Recently, The Undertaker shared a lighthearted story from one of their matches while speaking on What Do You Wanna Talk About? with Cody Rhodes.
The Undertaker explained that The Rock loved positioning his opponents so they faced the giant Tron, during matches. He said that during one bout, The Rock had him backed into the ropes and was unloading punches while not even looking at him.
He said, “I’d be in the ring with Rock and I don’t know if you’ve ever noticed but Rock would love to have you here back to the Tron. And we were working one night and he was just wearing me out, right? He’s got me up against the ropes and he is just pounding me, right? He’s not looking anywhere, he’s just watching himself with my ass on the Tron.”
He jokingly told him that if he was going to beat him up, he could at least look him in the eyes while doing it. “I was like, hey dude, if I’m a sell for you can you at least look me in the eyes while you’re beating my ass? And then he popped, he laughed about it. It was just like, oh man, he was all in just.:
Rhodes recalled that WWE used a giant Tron, and The Undertaker told him, “You pick up everything.” He added that The Rock was fully locked into the moment, especially with the massive screen capturing every move.
