Jey Uso has broken his silence following his loss in the 2026 King of the Ring tournament final at WWE Night of Champions.
Shortly after the event, Uso posted a brief but pointed message on his Instagram Stories that read: “Yall mfs lucky”
The former World Heavyweight Champion did not provide any additional context or explanation for the comment, leaving fans to interpret its meaning on their own.
The post comes just hours after Uso came up short against Oba Femi in the opening match of Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Femi captured the King of the Ring crown and secured a guaranteed world title opportunity at SummerSlam.
Jey Uso On Fan Criticism
In the lead-up to the premium live event, Uso had suggested a shift in his mindset, indicating that he was no longer focused on fan approval.
Speaking with Jackie Redmond on Countdown to Nigh of Champions, the YEET Master admitted that fan backlash has made him stop caring about public opinion.
“You want me to be honest? I really don’t care about the fans no more. ‘Cause when I was doing my thing, they saw the hate. I can’t miss it, it’s all in my face. Social media, whatever it is, man. When my name pops up, I see it out there. I’m gonna let y’all know. Most disliked video on social media, on WWE social media platforms. Look it up, uce. Like five, six, 10 videos out there. It’s all good. If anything, Jackie-O, man, that thing lit a fire under me. All the noise, all the opinions. Cool. It is what it is, ’cause that’s part of the job.”
Because of that prior statement, Uso’s latest message could be interpreted as a subtle jab directed at the WWE Universe, possibly implying that fans avoided a scenario where he would have been crowned “King Jey” had he defeated Femi in the final.
