Triple H has confirmed the reward for the winners of the 2026 WWE men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H appeared on ESPN First Take to promote the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble. The Game ran through what the fans can expect over the next few months as the company builds towards the first WrestleMania on ESPN.
While explaining what awaits the winners of the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches, Triple H also confirmed the reward for the superstars who win the 2026 men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches at the titular PLE in Chicago on February 28.
Triple H revealed that, similar to the winners of the Royal Rumble matches, those who walk out victorious from the Elimination Chamber will also get to choose a champion to challenge at WrestleMania 42.
“Yeah, as you guys are talking about the NFL and the playoffs, and the road to the Super Bowl, and how exciting it gets, the Royal Rumble stars that road to WrestleMania. And if you look at that as our playoffs, now the stakes get big.
“The winners of the Royal Rumble go on to face the champion of their choosing at WrestleMania in the main event. The winners of next month’s Elimination Chamber will do the same. So, you’re sort of in that playoff mode now, where the stakes do not get any bigger,” Triple H said.
Was Triple H clear with his announcement?
However, it’s unclear if Triple H was correct with his description of the reward for the Elimination Chamber winners. Usually, the Royal Rumble winners go on to face the champions of their choosing, and the Elimination Chamber victors get to face the other world champions. Or sometimes, the titles are defended inside the structure.
Things might also get interesting if the Royal Rumble winners didn’t choose their champions until the Elimination Chamber event or ask for an earlier title shot. Fans will have to wait and see how things eventually transpire.
