WWE SmackDown in Saudi Arabia Praised For WrestleMania Level Stage Design

WWE is receiving immense praise from fans for having a WrestleMania-level stage design for this week’s SmackDown in Saudi Arabia.

This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown is currently in progress at the Riyadh Season Stadium in King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It’s a temporary outdoor stadium built from the ground up within a span of 35 days, and it will also host the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble PLE tomorrow.

The venue and stage design are receiving high praise from wrestling fans on social media, with many claiming it’s on par with that of WrestleMania.

“Crazy to have #SmackDown with a WrestleMania-level stage!” one fan said.

“Genuinely the sexiest stage WWE has made in the 2020s,” another fan account posted.

Fans also exclaimed how the set made every entrance look impactful and expressed their excitement to see the same at the Royal Rumble tomorrow.

Cody Rhodes opened up the show today, and the former Undisputed WWE Champion will team up with Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso to take on the Vision’s Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory in the main event.
