WWE’s AJ Styles Announces Plans For His Phenomenal Farewell Tour

AJ Styles has big plans in store for his Phenomenal Farewell Tour.

Former WWE Champion AJ Styles announced last year that 2026 would be his final year as an in-ring competitor. While fans expected Styles to go on a retirement tour similar to John Cena’s, The Phenomenal One found himself in a situation that led him to put his career on the line against Gunther at the Royal Rumble.

However, AJ Styles is confident that tomorrow won’t be his final day as an in-ring performer, as he detailed the plans for his Phenomenal Farewell Tour during this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

AJ Styles walked out to the ring and told the fans not to worry about him losing tomorrow at the Royal Rumble. He said he will beat Gunther and then go on to start his Phenomenal Farewell Tour and face off against names like Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk.

Gunther cut him off and told AJ Styles that he made the biggest mistake of his life by agreeing to put his career on the line. The Ring General said he’s going to end Styles’ career, and he’s going to do it by making him tap out, the same way he did to his “buddy,” John Cena.

However, AJ Styles clapped back by saying the last time he checked, Gunther was the one who tapped out like a bit*h. That remark pisses Gunther off, and the newly-crowned “Career Killer” jumps on the apron. But the former World Heavyweight Champion ends up backing down and leaving through the crowd.

Things are heating up between the two superstars, and it will be interesting to see if AJ Styles can beat Gunther or if he’ll end his WWE career at the same event he started it a decade ago.
