Brie Bella Shuts Down Logan Paul Co-Host After ‘Political’ Bad Bunny’ Remark

WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella quickly defended Bad Bunny after his recent Grammys speech was called “political” during an episode of Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.

Bad Bunny made history that night by winning Album of the Year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos (I Should Have Taken More Photos). It’s the first wholly Spanish-language album to clinch the Grammys’ top prize. The artist went on to bag two more awards. Still, it was his speech that got everyone talking.

While some artists like Jelly Roll avoided courting controversy with their political statements, singers like Bunny and Billie Eilish openly displayed their political stances with their speeches. The Puerto Rican singer began his acceptance speech with the phrase “ICE out,” which has been used in protests against strict U.S. immigration policies. “Before I say thanks to God, I’m gonna say: ICE out!” he said as the crowd cheered loudly.

He then gave an emotional speech focused on compassion and togetherness. “We are not savage, we are not animals, we are not aliens, we are humans, and we are Americans. I know it’s tough not to hate on these days, and I was thinking, sometimes we get contaminados – I don’t know how to say that in English – the hate gets more powerful with more hate,” he said.

“The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So, please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don’t hate them. We love our people, we love our family, and that’s the way to do it. With love, don’t forget that, please,” Bunny added.

Brie Bella Responds To ‘Political’ Bad Bunny Comment

Brie appeared on Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast with her sister, Nikki Bella. As Brie started talking about acceptance speeches made at the 2026 Grammy Awards, she praised Bunny’s message, saying, “There was a lot of great speeches on the Grammys. I loved it. Bad Bunny…loved it”

But when co-host Mike Majlak commented, “Got a little political,” she didn’t agree. “I don’t think so,” Brie replied. She explained that the singer spoke from the heart and shared an important message about love and unity.

“Speaking from the heart… and ended it with something powerful, with love, unity…love that,” Brie added. Paul, however, didn’t have anything to say on the topic.

Some people online labelled the speech controversial, especially since Bad Bunny is set to headline the Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show. But Brie Bella saw it differently, at a time when celebrity speeches often cause backlash.
