CM Punk and Larry are still having a positive effect on the Chicago community.
Punk and AJ Lee’s beloved dog, Larry, died in December 2025. The dog had been with Punk and AJ since being adopted more than ten years ago. Last month, Punk teamed with PAWS Chicago for its 2026 “Slice to Meet You” campaign, which raises funds for Chicago’s homeless dogs and cats.
PAWS Chicago, Punk and Piece Pizzeria introduced a pizza crafted in honor of Larry, with the proceeds going to charity. “The Larry” is a pizza topped with Ezzo’s Cup & Char pepperoni and Hot Doug’s smoked sausage.
In a new update on the fundraiser, Piece Pizzeria Chicago shared that CM Punk’s pizza helped raise more than $50,000.
According to Piece, “The Larry” pizza was available from January 8 through February 7. When customers bought the pizza for $35, $70 was donated to PAWS Chicago. This was possible in large part due to a $10 donation from Piece and $60 from six matching donors.
The pizzeria shared that “thanks to CM Punk’s commitment, Piece sold 730 of Larry’s pizza, resulting in an incredible $51,100 raised for PAWS.”
PAWS Chicago is the Midwest’s largest no-kill humane organization. The organization saves nearly 5,000 homeless dogs and cats every year.
AJ Lee also thanked fans for their generosity after Larry’s passing, praising them for making donations to PAWS Chicago in his memory.
