Andrade El Idolo took a shot at WWE star Logan Paul on social media, accusing him of copying wrestling moves.
Paul has built a strong reputation in WWE as a flashy and athletic performer. He is known for pulling off big and exciting moves in the ring. Some of his signature moves include the Frog Splash and the Buckshot Lariat.
He also finishes matches with his powerful One Lucky Punch. While many fans praise his in-ring skills, some note that the Buckshot Lariat is closely associated with AEW star Hangman Adam Page.
Over the weekend at AEW Grand Slam Australia, Andrade faced Hangman Page in a tough match. Both stars gave strong performances throughout the bout. In the end, Andrade came up short and lost the match.
Despite the loss, he impressed fans with his skills and effort. With the win, Page earned a shot at the AEW World Championship against MJF at Revolution. During the match, Andrade hit Hangman Page with a reverse Spanish Fly from the middle rope.
However, Andrade now believes Logan Paul could use the unique move in WWE. He reacted on X, formerly known as Twitter, and wrote, “New move for Logan Paul!” The comment appeared to mock Paul’s history of using moves popularized by other wrestlers.
When a social media user claimed that Paul is better than Andrade at everything except in-ring wrestling, Andrade responded with a sarcastic remark. He wrote, “I know he is a good YouTuber!!”
