Becky Lynch has named the one thing she wants to achieve in WWE before her retirement.
Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins put their relationship to the test when they recently took the GQ Couples Quiz. Lynch answered her husband’s questions and finished with a score of 20.5. When it was Rollins’ turn, one of the questions that popped up was what the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion wants to accomplish before she retires.
While Seth Rollins initially thought Becky Lynch had done it all as a wrestler, he quickly realized she hadn’t won the WWE Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Lynch gave him a point for the correct answer and noted that she’d make a great MITB winner one day. Rollins finished up with 17.5 points.
“I haven’t won Money in the Bank. I’d be a great Money in the Bank winner!”
Becky Lynch has competed in five Money in the Bank ladder matches in her WWE career. She took part in both contests in 2017 when the first match ended in controversy. Lynch then participated in the contest in 2018, 2022, and 2023, but fell short.
Becky Lynch made a surprising revelation about her WWE name
During her recent appearance on Going Deep with Nick Viall, Becky Lynch revealed that she is not a fan of her WWE ring name. She noted that she wanted to keep a part of her real name (Rebecca Quin), but didn’t want to push back after the company finalized Becky Lynch.
“I’m a big fan of a moniker because I hate my name,” Becky Lynch said. “I love Rebecca Quinn. Rebecca Quinn rocks. What a great name. Lynch, eh. It just doesn’t roll off the tongue. I came up with name that I thought were super cool, and they kept saying, ‘No.’ Eventually, they got a combination of Becky and an Irish name. Lynch was one of the ones they approved. I wanted to keep a bit of my own name, so it’s less confusing. I didn’t feel like I could push back, so I was like, ‘Okay.’” [H/T: Fightful]
