A former WWE star has taken direct aim at Paul Heyman in a fiery social media promo just weeks before an event at the historic ECW Arena.
On February 17, 2026, Enzo Amore — now performing as Real 1 — posted a heated video on X in which he targeted Heyman while holding two WWE 205 Live Championship belts.
The belts, which he had never held prior to his 2018 release, were used to reinforce his claim as the true “draw” of that division.
Real 1 opened by referencing his former WWE catchphrase before pivoting into a no-filter attack on Heyman and ECW’s legacy. Throughout the promo, he criticized Heyman’s leadership of the original ECW and dismissed the value of championships earned in the promotion.
Real 1 Targets Paul Heyman Before ECW Arena Show
The timing of the rant appears intentional. Real 1 could appear for the 4th Rope on March 21 at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia.
During the video, he claimed the promotion would bring “sports entertainment” to a building synonymous with hardcore wrestling — something he suggested Heyman never did.
He also delivered pointed remarks about ECW’s fanbase and legacy, adding more fuel to the fire. As of this writing, Paul Heyman has not publicly responded.
The promo arrives amid continued speculation about Real 1’s future. He has teased potential interest from major companies in interviews. Although current reports indicate WWE has no plans to rehire him. He remains active on the independent scene, including recent appearances for MCW in Maryland.
Whether this is classic promo heat or the start of something more, one thing is clear. When a mic is involved, Real 1 still knows how to stir the pot. Now, all eyes turn to March 21 to see if this verbal shot at Paul Heyman leads to anything beyond words.
