Masha Slamovich is getting more wrestling bookings in 2026, but the latest one comes with a major disclaimer. Literally.
Slamovich has been announced as appearing at Squared Circle Expo VI in Indianapolis. The announcement came with a disclaimer that vaguely references Slamovich’s “past.” The past alluded to includes domestic abuse allegations levied against Slamovich by a former partner.
Slamovich came under scrutiny after screenshots of conversations with her former partner, pro wrestler AKIRA, were leaked online. The images implied domestic abuse by Slamovich towards AKIRA, who later released a lengthy statement addressing what he described as an abusive relationship with Slamovich.
“Yes we are fully aware of Masha’s scenario and past. That being said, she has sincerely apologized, and she was even punished by her employer for her actions, she is also doing things to right her wrongs,” the disclaimer from Squared Circle Expo read. “We are all human, and we all make mistakes, and not only that, we do believe in second chances, and one scenario does not tell the story of a whole life. If you have a negative thought or urge to comment negatively, we do remind you that we will delete it, and that there is nearly 100 other superstars at this event, and that while you may harbor certain feelings there are others that do not, and want to meet Masha. Please proceed respectfully, or just scroll on past till the next announcement.”
UPDATE: Masha Slamovich has been removed from the event lineup by Squared Circle Expo, who issued an apology to its supporters.
