Chelsea Green will do anything to be on WWE TV. Is there a storyline or gimmick she would actually turn down?
Green says she hasn’t had that problem yet.
WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard spoke with Chelsea Green at WWE 2K26 Creator Fest at WWE Headquarters about her role on WWE TV. Green previously said she’s okay with being the butt of the joke on TV, noting how it gets her plenty of perks.
“Because it gets me views and it gets me a new contract, and it gets me a raise, and it bought me my new house, and honestly, hopefully in the next year, it gets me numerous auditions,” she said on the INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet podcast. “Hopefully this parlays into something even bigger than we could have ever imagined, because I was able to tuck my tail between my legs and be the idiot.”
Chelsea Green can’t fathom a WWE pitch she would turn down
When asked if there’s ever a pitch she would turn down, Green said it hasn’t happened yet. She said turning something embarrassing down would go against her beliefs, and she wasn’t about to start now.
“Well, I haven’t run into that yet in 12 years. I mean, there’s got to be something that’s deeply embarrassing, I’m sure. But I’ve never come across it, and I couldn’t even come up with a make-believe scenario.
“At the end of the day, if I’d take any movie role, then why would I say no to something given to me in WWE? That’s how I think about it. I just want to make sure my career is as long and as entertaining as it can possibly be. I want to show every facet of who I can be.
“If I say no to something embarrassing, isn’t that going against what I’m telling you now? That’s how I feel. But who knows? Now they’re probably going to give me something embarrassing, and I’m going to have to say no.”
Green is currently dealing with a broken ankle, but recently shared an update on her potential return to the ring.
