WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion Izzi Dame found herself in an unexpected predicament this week — and it had nothing to do with Tatum Paxley or The Culling.
A clip shared by fan account @Dame__Over captured Dame sitting in her car fully dressed in wrestling gear, staring at a dashboard that read “0 mi” to empty.
On her way to work as a WWE Superstar, the reigning champion realized she had pushed her luck at the gas pump one too many times.
Izzi Dame Running on Fumes in Wrestling Gear
In the self-recorded video, Izzi Dame didn’t hide her embarrassment. “Gosh, I’ve never been so embarrassed,” she said. “If you know me, you know I wait for the last minute to get gas, like, on zero. Karma came back to bite me… I have to get gas dressed like this.”
The camera panned to the dashboard, showing the low fuel warning illuminated and the range sitting at zero miles. Dame, wearing red and black ring gear complete with a spiked choker and full stage makeup, admitted she didn’t want to step out of the car. “I’m literally so embarrassed,” she added.
While the moment was lighthearted, it came during a pivotal stretch for the champion. Dame captured the NXT Women’s North American Championship at New Year’s Evil on January 6, 2026. She then successfully defended it in a Triple Threat match on February 3. She is scheduled to defend the title against Tatum Paxley at NXT Vengeance Day on March 7.
For a Superstar used to running the division, this time she was simply running on fumes. Fortunately, the only thing empty was her tank — not her momentum.
