WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss’ husband, Ryan Cabrera, recounts a scary encounter with a stalker who sent him death threats.
Musician Ryan Cabrera married WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss in 2022, and the couple has a daughter together. During his recent conversation on Artist Friendly with Joel Madden, he explained how some wrestling fans can go too far. He revealed that he received a lot of death threats ever since he married Bliss. He also recounted a frightening encounter with a stalker.
“The amount of death threats I’ve gotten since that! Especially in the beginning,” Alexa Bliss’ husband began. “Three years ago, we had to get a stalker put in jail. Took over a year to make it happen. He was showing up at our house, in the front lawn. So, I was getting all these death threats on Instagram, and a lot of it got too detailed, like where we lived, and he thought he was married to Alexa.
“He’s an unwell person. Something was going on, and he sent, from what he said, like over $400,000, who knows where? And he thinks that it was me catfishing him, like, I got all this money, and he was like, we’re not actually married, Hendricks actually isn’t my kid. It was crazy.
“But all the death threats were real. I was leaving the house one day, and I’m going to golf with my dad for his birthday, and I saw a dude in camouflage in the bushes across from the house. It’s a little weird. And there’s duck hunters back behind our house. I was like, ‘Okay, maybe he’s in camouflage because he’s a duck hunter, but why is he sitting in that bush?’ A little weird to me,” Alexa Bliss’ husband said.
Ryan Cabrera got the police involved to ensure Alexa Bliss and their daughter’s safety
“So I texted my wife or called her, and she was home alone. I’m like, ‘Hey, just be on the lookout. Just keep the doors locked because there’s somebody in the bushes out there, I don’t know, it just seems a little off’ Alexa Bliss’ husband said. “She zoomed in, or heard a banging on the door, and she thought it was her Uber Eats, but she luckily didn’t answer it, and we eventually found video footage. It was him, and so I came straight home, got in the house, and then called the police.
“He wouldn’t leave. He just sat down. This is in Florida. He just sat down on the lawn across the way, and he’s the guy that was sending all these death threats. But nobody takes it seriously until it’s too late. I was getting him out here, too, at the LA house. He found the address and was saying, ‘I’m coming to your house.’ I had the chief of police come to the house,” Cabrera said.
“Too many bad things have happened to many people, and it’s just too easy. But they got him. It’s just scary once you have your kid. She was a baby baby too. She would’ve been holding the baby at the door and would’ve been face-to-face with this guy. He knows what people are going to do, but it gets scary with that world, like, ‘You stole our girl!’ Wait, what? Yeah, we’re married!” Alexa Bliss’ husband said.
