WWE SmackDown Results:

The Viper

2026 Elimination Chamber winner Randy Orton hits the ring. Orton notes that he has been to 20 WrestleManias but has only main-evented two. Orton exclaims that he is on his way back to the main event of WrestleMania. Orton doesn’t know who he will face at WrestleMania, but it doesn’t matter. He’s not leaving Vegas without the Undisputed WWE Championship around his waist. Orton is going to do that using the three most dangerous letters in WWE: RKO. The lights go out, and Trick Williams fire theme bellows throughout the arena.

Williams says he hears voices in his head, and they tell him he has a bone to pick with Orton. Williams says he should be main-eventing WrestleMania, and Orton said he wasn’t 6’5 at the Chamber. Orton mocks Williams’ height. Williams starts talking about his lemon peppa steppas and gets RKO’d out of his… err.. steppas.

Grade: B+

Orton gave a heck of a babyface promo and Williams… that man is a STAR. Some may think a segment like this would diminish Williams’ shine, but segments like this build Williams as the heel WWE wants him to be. He’s mid-2000s Rock.

After the match, Hayes helps Wagner Jr. up and hands him the AAA Latin American Championship. Both men celebrate.

Grade: B

This was a great professional wrestling match. Wagner Jr. looked great out there. If there are going to be more AAA stars on WWE TV, it’s strange that it’s taken this long for Wagner Jr. to show up on the main roster. After this, we will see more of Wagner Jr. for sure.

It’s a Celebration!!! (Laughs in Rick James)

The crowd boos as the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Nia Jax and Lash Legend, hold up their championships. They have the entire tag division on lock. Any and all challengers are welcome, but it won’t matter. Legend says anyone who runs up will get done up. The Irritable forces are here, and they aren’t going anywhere. Legend and Jax toast to themselves.

Charlotte Flair‘s music hits. Flair and Alexa Bliss interrupt. Bliss blames Legend and Jax for costing them the titles ot begin with. They want a shot. Giulia and Kiana James are out next. James reminds Flair and Bliss that she has pinned them both. Giluia says they are going into WrestleMania with the tag titles. SmackDown GM Nick Aldis books a tag match, right here, right now.

Chalrotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs. Kiana James and Giulia

James and Giulia are in control early, working over Flair. Flair tags in Bliss, who clears the ring. After the break, Flair lands a moonsault for a near fall. Flair eventually pins Giulia after Natural Selection.

Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Cody Rhodes

Toward the end of the match, the ref got taken out after Cody accidentally hit him with a Disaster Kick. Cody followed that up with Cross Rhodes on Drew, but there was no referee there to make the count. A second ref ran down, and Drew immediately caught Cody with a Claymore, but Cody managed to kick out.

Drew then went for a steel chair, looking like he was ready to end it that way, but Jacob Fatu showed up and stopped him before he could use it. That distraction opened the door for Cody. He hit a top-rope Cody Cutter and then followed it with Cross Rhodes to get the pin and walk out with the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Winner and NEW Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes!

Grade: C+

How did we get here? Way too predictable finish.
