Netflix Quietly Edits Jade Cargill Wig Slip From WWE SmackDown Replay

Netflix has quietly edited Jade Cargill‘s wig malfunction from its WWE SmackDown rerun.

During the June 12 episode of SmackDown, Cargill competed in a Fatal Four-Way Queen of the Ring Tournament match against Charlotte Flair, Lyra Valkyria, and Sol Ruca.

Disaster struck when a top-rope spot accidentally caused Jade Cargill’s wig to come off, revealing her natural hair underneath. Realizing what had happened, the former Women’s Champion rolled out of the ring to fix the issue.

The moment quickly became a talking point on social media, with fans reacting to the unexpected mishap. While viewers watching live caught the incident in real time, Netflix’s replay version of the show removed the moment entirely.

Cargill humorously addressed the situation on X, writing: “Y’all. Biggest fear happened tonight and I think I’m still alive. My wig won though,” she wrote.

In the Netflix SmackDown replay, the moment is no longer shown, with the broadcast instead cutting directly to Charlotte Flair and Sol Ruca continuing the action.

Charlotte Flair would ultimately best Cargill, Sol Ruca, and Lyra Valkyria, moving one step closer to earning a shot at WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. WrestleZone’s full coverage of WWE SmackDown is available here.
