Nikki and Brie Bella want to see three to four women’s matches each night of WWE WrestleMania 42.
Former WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton was the latest guest on the Bella Twins’ Nikki & Brie Show. During the conversation, Stratton emphasized women supporting each other. She believes that women will main event WrestleMania once again, and Nikki and Brie Bella chimed in, saying that WrestleMania 42 should feature at least three to four women’s matches each night.
Tiffany Stratton: “I think when two women go out there and have a dance together, and wrestle together, I think magic can happen. I fully believe one day we’re gonna have another women’s main event at WrestleMania. So us women, we all need to come together, and we need to make that happen.”
Brie Bella: “Well, all the women have been killing it lately. So if it’s not happening in this ‘Mania, I’ll be shocked.”
Nikki Bella: “And a lot more female matches. I think there should be three a night.
Brie Bella: “If not four.”
Nikki Bella: “Especially with added time from ESPN.”
Tiffany Stratton: And we have like the IC Title, you got the US Title, we got the two main titles. We got four titles, and then the tag titles.
Brie Bella: So we need to see a lot of women on WrestleMania for sure.
WWE is reportedly looking to feature six women’s matches across both nights of WrestleMania 42
Recent reports noted that WWE plans to feature a record number of women’s matches at WrestleMania 42, with at least six contests across the two nights of the event.
With the two women’s title matches already confirmed for WrestleMania 42, F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer reported that the promotion is looking to have AJ Lee and Becky Lynch battle over the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. He also noted that a multi-team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, featuring Nia Jax & Lash Legend, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, Bayley & Lyra Valkyria, Asuka & Kairi Sane, and the Bella Twins, could also be in the mix.
WWE is also reportedly planning for Tiffany Stratton to face Giulia for the Women’s United States Championship at WrestleMania 42. So if the reports are anything to go by, the promotion could add one more match to the card. Fans will get a clear picture as WWE moves closer to the event.
