Marc Mero believes Sable deserves to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Appearing on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Marc Mero was asked to elaborate on comments from his book, where he wrote that his ex-wife should receive the honor.
Mero said Sable absolutely deserves a Hall of Fame induction, praising her contributions to the women’s division during the Attitude Era and noting that she was a major draw for the company at the time.
“Oh, absolutely. The women’s division, they didn’t really have a woman’s division so much back then at all. But she brought eyes to the channels. The ratings and everything were very high because of her,” Mero said.
When asked if he considers his pro wrestling career Hall of Fame worthy, Marc Mero responded, “You know what? If you want to look at my WWF stint, no. But if you want to look at things I’ve done with WCW as Johnny B. Badd, they were very entertaining.”
Mero also agreed with Chris Van Vliet that he would be a fitting recipient for the Warrior Award, even mentioning who he would like to induct him if that were to happen.
“Something like that would be wonderful. If I ever did, DDP would be the guy to induct me.”
Earlier today, WWE announced Sycho Sid as the latest inductee into the Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Sid joins Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, Demolition, and NBA legend Dennis Rodman in this year’s class.
