A groom put on a Penta mask on the dance floor at his wedding. Did he clear the tribute with his bride first? If not, guess it’s safe to say he had “Cero Miedo!”
A viral clip uploaded on X/Twitter shows a groom channeling WWE Intercontinental Penta during his wedding. He was already doing the “Cero Miedo” gesture on the altar. When it was time for the traditional garter toss during the reception, he went full lucha and surprised his bride and everyone by putting on a Penta mask when he retrieved the decorative elastic band from his bride.
He performed the iconic Penta strut on the dance floor, then danced with his friends, who were wearing luchador masks.
As far as the real Penta is concerned, it appears the Intercontinental Champion is finished with his feud against Dominik Mysterio, who’s likely heading into WrestleMania 42 to face his former Judgment Day partner Finn Balor. It will be interesting to see what WWE has in store for Penta at the Show of Shows next month.
AJ Styles wishes he had faced Penta and another star before his WWE retirement
During his recent appearance on the Talk’n Shop podcast alongside his former Bullet Club partners Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, AJ Styles wished he had faced Penta and his brother Rey Fenix before he retired from in-ring competition.
“Penta’s up there. Just because I never had the opportunity to do it, you know, and he’s such a great guy. He’s so good. I would love to been able to do that,” Styles said (via Wrestling News). “But there’s always going to be a couple of guys that be like, ‘Oh, man. Dang it. I missed that one…’ Yeah, Rey [Fenix] is pretty awesome too…Rey’s definitely another one I wish I would have been able to get in the ring with. Those guys are freaking…they’re so good.”
