Cody Rhodes Shoots Down Roman Reigns’ Claim About Street Fighter Movie

WWE‘s Cody Rhodes reacts to Roman Reigns’ recent claim about him.

NYC-based street journalist Adam Glyn recently caught up with reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. During the conversation, the American Nightmare addressed Roman Reigns’ recent claim that he was nervous and tried to stay away from the Tribal Chief at the sets of the Street Fighter movie. Reigns and Rhodes are playing Akuma and Guile, respectively, in the film.

Cody Rhodes reacted to the claim, saying Roman Reigns was the nervous one, since he arrived in Australia later than he did. However, he did compliment the 2026 WWE men’s Royal Rumble winner for doing a good job in the movie.

“We never interacted on set. I believe he said it was my idea. I think Roman knows better because we share the same security force. I took half of them when I beat him at WrestleMania. So he should know better. But I think he was just nervous. He was new. I had been there already in Australia. I was leaving. He was just nervous. I can tell you he did a really good job on the movie, though,” Cody Rhodes said.

Cody Rhodes says he has more movie gigs coming his way

Speaking further, Cody Rhodes revealed that he is receiving more movie roles and he’s waiting until WrestleMania 42 to make an announcement.

“It’s been really fun. We talked about it as A juggling act the other day, in a sense of what’s the next big get, and a good story to tell that’s not in the ring. And it’s got to be a story that’s worth stepping away from the ring to tell. There’s definitely something on the docket. I’d wait until we get a little closer to WrestleMania and then hopefully that’ll be something that’s news for everybody,” Cody Rhodes said.

Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against his old mentor, Randy Orton, at WrestleMania 42.
