Chaos erupted on the April 14 episode of WWE NXT when Joe Hendry attempted to regroup after his recent title loss — only for the night to take a violent and unexpected turn.
Hendry entered the ring for a scheduled “concert” segment, addressing the crowd after losing the NXT Championship at Stand & Deliver.
However, before the performance could find its rhythm, the segment was interrupted — and things quickly went off-key.
Keanu Carver’s violent rampage escalates WWE NXT rivalry with Joe Hendry
Keanu Carver stormed the ring and confronted Hendry, disregarding both the setting and the crowd’s expectations. Hendry initially tried to push forward with his segment, but the situation escalated when Carver attacked, sparking a physical exchange.
Hendry fought back and even used a guitar in self-defense, but Carver shrugged it off and took control. What followed was less of a match and more of a demolition job — Carver overwhelmed Hendry, leaving him visibly bloodied and forcing him out of the ring.
The assault didn’t stop there. Carver chased Hendry to the ringside and drove him through the barricade, adding another exclamation point to an already brutal encounter. Security attempted to intervene, but Carver tore through them as well, continuing a pattern of destruction that has defined his recent run.
This incident comes during a turbulent period for NXT’s main event scene. Hendry is still dealing with the fallout from losing the NXT Championship to Tony D’Angelo, while Carver has been building momentum after a series of dominant performances.
Carver’s actions suggest this rivalry is far from over. If this was meant to send a message, it landed harder than a finishing move in the final minute.
For Hendry, the comeback tour just hit a serious roadblock. For Carver, the path forward looks increasingly clear — and increasingly dangerous.
