A podcast interview turned chaotic for Jey Uso ahead of WWE WrestleMania 42.
Jey Uso sat down for an interview with rappers Cam’ron and Ma$e on It Is What It Is on the Come And Talk 2 Me podcast. However, Uso didn’t have a good time, as tensions started rising right from the beginning after Cam’ron acted dismissively towards the former World Heavyweight Champion.
The WWE Superstar noted at one point answered a question about where he thinks he ranks among his iconic Anoa’i family members. Jey Uso noted, “There’s so many heavy hitters in my family, man, like my dad, Yokozuna, Rock. I wouldn’t say I’m above Roman Reigns.”
Things started escalating when Cam’ron replied to Uso with a smug tone, saying, “Yeah, because you’re not.”
Jey Uso is set to team up with his twin, Jimmy, and LA Knight to take on Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and IShowSpeed in a six-man tag team match on WWE WrestleMania 42 Night 1. Things escalated in the interview when Uso clarified that his match is on Saturday, after Cam’ron asked what his plan was for Sunday.
Cam’ron disrespected Jey Uso over his match taking place on WWE WrestleMania 42
After further exchanges, the rapper made a disrespectful remark about Jey Uso’s match being on Saturday.
“Well, listen, Ma$e, I don’t actually have any more questions. Nick (his producer), I’m more mad at you cuz you keep bringing Saturday Wrestlemania, here, and you don’t bring us a Sunday…”
Jey Uso had heard enough after that remark and stood up to leave the interview. However, as Cam’ron continued to run his mouth, Uso grabbed and pulled him off his desk, and appeared to have landed a punch. Others stepped in to pull Uso away. When the podcast resumed, Cam’ron was seen having an ice pack under his cap.
It’s unclear if this is an angle or legitimate, but most fans are leaning towards the former, and it will be interesting to see if Cam’ron will have a role to play in Jey Uso’s match this Saturday at WWE WrestleMania 42 Night 1.
