Grayson Waller is no stranger to taking some big hits in the ring, but recently revealed why a moment with Bron Breakker specifically was one of the worst days ever.
During a recent appearance on Brandi Rhodes’ “A Shot of Brandi” cooking show, Waller opened up about some of the biggest bumps he’s taken. He was quick to bring up Bron Breakker, and reveal that he was the first person to ever take his Spear in a WWE ring. He then brought up the infamous moment, which Waller joked took place early in the morning and was an awful day.
“I was actually the first person to take his Spear, and it was at 9am on a Wednesday morning, and it was one of the worst days of my life,” Waller joked. He went on to talk about Breakker’s infamous Spear on IShowSpeed, and noted that Breakker is a heavy hitter.
While Waller and Breakker don’t interact much nowadays, the pair did have an infamous feud in NXT a few years ago. The two battled it out several times, with one of the biggest matches coming at NXT’s New Year’s Evil in 2023, where Breakker hit Waller with a Spear that literally broke the ring.
