Seth Rollins Warns Bron Breakker About Paul Heyman Ahead of WWE Backlash

Seth Rollins isn’t just preparing for a fight with Bron Breakker at WWE Backlash — he’s warning the young star about the man standing in his corner.

Ahead of their highly anticipated singles match on May 9, Rollins reflected on his own career-defining heel turn and suggested Breakker may not fully understand what comes with aligning himself with Paul Heyman.

The comments came during WWE’s newly released “Backlash Countdown” interview. While Rollins focused heavily on his upcoming showdown, much of the conversation circled back to Heyman and the dangers of trusting “The Wiseman.” Considering the Visionary has already been burned once, he clearly isn’t ready to let Heyman script another plot twist.

During the interview, Rollins compared Breakker’s current position to his own infamous split from The Shield in 2014.

Rollins explained that when he joined The Authority, he had experienced names like Randy Orton, Kane, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon helping guide him through the transition.

“The thing is, I just don’t know that he’s ready,” Rollins admitted. “When I made the switch, I had incredible minds around me.”

Seth Rollins then pointed directly at Heyman as the major difference between the two situations.

“And the difference between that group that I just mentioned, and Paul Heyman, is that no matter what Paul sells you, at the end of the day, he’s only looking out for himself.”

He continued by warning Breakker that Heyman could abandon him the moment he no longer sees value in the partnership.

“If he thinks that Bron Breakker… isn’t gonna be his meal ticket, Paul will cut you loose in a second.”

The tension between Rollins and Heyman dates back to October 2025, when Heyman betrayed the Vision member during an episode of RAW in Perth and aligned himself with Breakker and Bronson Reed.

The attack wrote Seth Rollins off television for several months following shoulder surgery and became the foundation for their ongoing rivalry.

Since returning at Elimination Chamber earlier this year, Rollins has openly targeted Heyman while chasing revenge against Breakker. Their Backlash match now serves as the latest chapter in a feud that continues to blur the line between mentor and manipulator — and whether Breakker realizes it or not, Rollins believes Heyman may already have a Plan B.
