Former WWE star Val Venis returned to social media, this time with another direct comment and it involved Sami Zayn, and the message came short, blunt, no build up at all.
The situation followed earlier exchanges online, where the he had already drawn attention before. A few weeks ago, Chelsea Green had called him out for his claims. Now he shifted focus again, different target with a huge claim. This time he aimed at Sami Zayn, bringing up drawing power, a familiar topic in wrestling talk.
Val Venis takes shot at Sami Zayn with ‘bigger draw’ claim
Val Venis posted his on X, formerly known as Twitter, keeping it very direct, no long explanation added. He wrote, “My jockstrap is a bigger draw than Sami Zayn on any given night.” The line came abrupt with a quick jab.
Zayn has not responded to the comment so far, no direct reply yet. At the same time, he remains active on WWE television, involved in a current storyline. He is working in a feud with United States Champion, Trick Williams, which continues on weekly programming.
However, Venis also made remarks toward MJF, adding another name into the situation. The response came quickly, but not in a direct exchange format. Instead, MJF referred back to an older post, using it as a reply without adding much new text.
The post originally came from Cody Rhodes, and it addressed Venis directly. It read, “Stop. You know nothing. You have drawn 0 dollars. No fan has ever left a show thinking about you. You were lucky to be a juiced up double-lifer “over with the boys” type in an era where you hid in plain sight coasting on others’ success. Couldn’t hang then, can’t get booked now.”
This situation continues as Venis remains active online, posting comments and calling out different wrestlers.
