Seth Rollins finally ended his match drought during the May 18, 2026, episode of WWE RAW after he confirmed his wish to engage in a match on the red brand.
Early in the show, Seth Rollins spoke backstage with Cathy Kelley. Rollins admitted he was tired of sitting back and overthinking everything involving Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman. He said he had been “spinning his wheels” trying to figure out how to deal with the growing threat around them.

According to Rollins, the best solution was to stop thinking and start fighting. He also reminded fans that he had not wrestled on RAW in nine months. He proclaimed that he wanted to finally end that streak.
“Sometimes, the easiest way out of a situation is to run right through it. You know what else I know? I haven’t had a match on Monday Night RAW in about nine months. And I think we should change that right here tonight in Greensboro, North Carolina,” Rollins said.
Rollins then revealed that Adam Pearce had given him the main event match for the night. The Visionary then challenged anyone from The Vision group. However, Bron Breakker was the man he really wanted.
“Because Adam Pearce has given me the main event tonight and with that main event, I have a very direct challenge to make to The Vision. Any member of The Vision…two of them…three of them…all of them…I don’t give a damn. I’ll fight any of them. Cathy you know who I’d really like to see enter that challenge? It’s a guy who thinks he’s ready, but he’s not. The guy who says he can beat me on his own but can’t. Bron Breakker,” Rollins stated.
Rollins called out Breakker directly and questioned whether the powerhouse star was truly ready for the spotlight or just relying on his family name. He mocked Breakker by asking whether he was just “a nepo baby that can’t hack it” or actually the future star he claims to be.
Before this week, Rollins had not competed on RAW since August 4, 2025, when he defended the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight. Soon after that match, he suffered a torn rotator cuff injury that later required surgery. That forced Rollins to vacate the World Heavyweight title and kept him out of action for months.
In a later backstage segment, Austin Theory and Logan Paul were bragging backstage when Breakker walked in to talk with Paul Heyman. Breakker demanded that Heyman officially make the Rollins match happen because he wanted to prove he could beat Rollins on his own.
But instead of giving Breakker the match, Heyman suggested that Austin Theory should face Rollins in the main event instead. Theory and Logan Paul loved the idea, but Breakker was not happy about it.
Paul Heyman then explained that there might be a bigger strategy at play. He hinted that keeping track of Rollins throughout the night could help Breakker and the group in the long run.
