WWE Raw Results:
As the show kicks off, Roman Reigns arrives. Raw GM Adam Pearce cuts Reigns off and tells him that this is Reigns’ fault. If Reigns had just let Pearce handle this his way last week, Jacob Fatu would already be fired. Reigns says he just needs a few minutes with Fatu first. Fatu’s music hits, and Pearce is incredulous. Fatu isn’t supposed to be in the ring.
FA-TUUU!
Jacob Fatu grabs a mic and says, Reigns doesn’t get to call him out, he’s calling Reigns out so he can dogwalk him. The Usos‘ music hits. Jimmy and Jey storm the ring. Jey has a chair. Jimmy tells Jey to let him talk to Fatu. Jimmy asks Fatu why he didn’t acknowledge Reigns like he was supposed to after he lost at Backlash. Fatu put his hands on the officials and is about to get fired. Jey tries to hit Fatu, but Fatu ducks and beats the crap out of Jey and Jimmy. Fatu puts Jimmy in the Tongan Death Grip. Jey hits Fatu with a chair. Fatu shrugs it off and Death Grips Jey. Roman Reigns music hits.
Reigns and Fatu trade strikes. Reigns leaps in the air for a Superman Punch. Fatu plucks Reigns out of the air with the Death Grip. Jey superkicks Fatu twice before hitting a Spear to get Fatu to release the Death Grip on Reigns, finally. The Usos drop Fatu with a 1D. Jimmy and Jey tie Fatu up in the ropes. Reigns lays in a few Superman Punches. Spear by Reigns. The OG Bloodline walks away. GM Pearce walks out on the stage. Reigns tells Pearce to do whatever he wants. Back in the ring, Fatu is still down, but he has a mic. Pearce starts to speak, but Fatu demands Tribal Combat! Pearce tells Reigns not to bite. Reigns accepts.
Grade: B
Great opening segment. Fatu got beaten the heck up tonight, but Fatu more than had that coming. What is the difference between Tribal Combat, Bloodline Rules, and a Street Fight? There isn’t one, but either way, this will be fun as hell to watch.
Street Fight: Finn Bálor vs. JD McDonagh
Bálor and McDonagh trade shots. Bálor grabs a chair, but eats a kendo stick shot from McDonagh. As Bálor tries to get a table from under the ring, McDonagh sails in out of nowhere and takes Bálor out with a suicide dive. McDonagh and Bálor fight into the crowd, taking turns slamming each other into the various equipment cases. McDonagh moonsaults off a platform onto Bálor. Both men are down. After the break, Bálor puts McDonagh through a table with a Woo dropkick. McDonagh avoids Bálor’s double stomp.
Busaiku Knee by McDonagh. Powerbomb by McDonagh. Bálor kicks out. McDonagh lands a moonsault. Bálor kicks out again. McDonagh sets up a table in the ring. Bálor knocks McDonagh off the top. Dominik Mysterio attacks Bálor. McDonagh manages to superplex Bálor off the top through the table. Bálor kicks out! Dominik and McDonagh take turns hitting Bálor with trash cans. Bálor pulls McDonagh in the way as Dominik tries a 619. Bálor crushes McDonagh with a double stomp off the top while McDonagh is trapped in a trash can.
Winner- Finn Bálor
Grade: B-
Fun garbage match. At the very least, this feud deserved a Street Fight. One of the biggest issues with modern wrestling is that most of the match booking makes little to no sense. These two used to be brothers. With this type of betrayal, they needed to try to murder each other tonight. Mission accomplished.
Sol to Sol
Sol Ruca says she is going to do this in front of the world. Ruca demands Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch come to the ring, and they can speak out here. Lynch asks what stunt this rookie is trying to pull. Ruca says she’s worked too hard to just give up. She’s worked way too hard to prove people wrong. Ruca wants Lynch right here, right now.
Lynch says no. Lynch goes on a rant about how great she is and all the people she’s beaten since returning to WWE. The crowd boos as Lynch says Ruca isn’t ready. If Ruca thinks she is ready, she will face Ruca at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Ruca says she’ll see Lynch at SNME, and she’s going to take Lynch’s title. Lynch says she didn’t say anything about the title.
Grade: C+
Lynch is so good at being so hated. She’s one of the best on the mic, maybe ever. Is there another woman on the roster who can get the crowd this riled up by just speaking? This match at SNME has to be for the title. Having Ruca lose every match since joining the main roster has to be leading to a massive win. Is this it?
Trios Tornado Tag Team Match | El Grande Americano and Los Americanos (Rayo and Bravo) vs. “Original” Grande Americano and Los Americanos Hermanos (Bruto and Julio Credo)
As soon as the bell rings, everyone brawls. Everyone lands dives. OG takes out everyone with a moonsault to the floor. After the break, OG and the brothers all land moonsaults. Triple kick out by Americanos and Los Americanos. Bravo and Rayo hold Bruto in place while Americano lands a running loaded headbutt for the win.
Winners- El Grande Americano and Los Americanos
Grade: C+
This one was all over the place. It’s amazing how over this angle is in AAA, but the crowds state side could give you two you know whats about it at this point. Funny stuff. OG Americano has to lose his mask. If they book this to end any other way, WWE is insane.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships Match | Brie Bella and Paige (c) vs. The Judgment Day (Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez) w/Liv Morgan
Brie and Paige are in control early. Paige tries a dive, but gets caught by Rodriguez. Rodriguez swings Paige into the barricade, then the ring post. After the break, Brie and Paige manage to powerbomb Rodriguez off the top. Liv Morgan pushes Brie off the top. The referee kicks Morgan out of ringside. In the confusion, Perez tries to hit Brie with one of the tag titles. Brie ducks and rolls up Perez for the win.
Winners and STILL WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Brie Bella and Paige!
After the match, The Judgment Day jumps the tag champs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria make the save.
Grade: C-
Fingers crossed this experiment with Brie and Paige ends at Saturday Night’s Main Event…
Oba Femi Open Challenge
As Femi is in the ring posing, someone attacks him from behind. It’s Brock Lesnar! Lesnar proceeds to hit four F5s in a row.
Grade: A
Now we are getting to the meat of the matter. Everyone was wondering what Femi’s first real feud would be. It’s Lesnar. PERFECT.
Seth Rollins vs. Austin Theory w/Logan Paul
Rollins takes out Paul and Theory with a dive before the match starts. Rollins works over Theory until Paul pulls Rollins off the apron. Rollins hurts his knee during the fall. Theory focuses his attack on Rollins’ injured leg, slamming it into the ring steps and more.

After the break, Paul keeps getting involved. Paul gives Theory a pair of brass knuckles. Rollins catches Theory with a superkick and takes the knucks. Before Rollins can hit Theory, Paul snitches on Rollins. The referee takes the knucks. Rollins knocks Paul off the apron and drops Theory with a Pedigree for the win.
Winner- Seth Rollins
After the match, Paul and Theory attack Rollins. Angelo Dawkins tries to make the save, but gets taken out. Montez Ford saves Dawkins. Ford asks Dawkins why he’s even out here. Bron Breakker runs down to ring side. Ford pushes Dawkins out of the way and eats a Spear from Breakker. Breakker ends up Spearing Rollins. Breakker tries to crush Rollins’ leg with the ring steps, but GM Pearce and officials make the save.
Grade: B-
Solid match, with a mess of an afterbirth in the end. It weirdly seems the Street Profits may be involved in this for it to be the catalyst for a breakup. Odd choice, but let’s see how it plays out. Also, at some point, Rollins has to get something over on The Vision. These weekly butt kickings are getting to be a bit much.
