It seems like Roman Reigns is in such a bad mood that he can’t even accept a birthday gift. The OTC created another memorable moment on the May 25, 2026, episode of WWE RAW, and it happened before he even entered the arena.
Born on May 25, 1985, Reigns just turned 41, and the whole WWE universe is wishing him a happy birthday. However, one poor fan was left disappointed when the OTC brutally rejected his gift right to his face.
Roman Reigns rejected a gift during his RAW arrival segment
This week on RAW, during WWE’s usual superstar arrival footage, Reigns was getting handed his World Heavyweight title by a WWE staff member. He then stopped Reigns and gifted him a wrapped birthday present, wishing him “happy birthday.”
At first, Reigns smiled and looked willing to accept the gift. But soon enough, he leaned fully into his cold and arrogant on-screen persona.
The World Heavyweight Champion stayed completely in character and slapped the birthday gift up into the air and kept walking.
The moment only lasted a few seconds, but it perfectly matched the current version of the OTC on WWE TV. Even later in the night, when fans chanted “happy birthday,” Reigns stayed focused on his feud with Jacob Fatu.
During the closing segment of RAW, Adam Pearce oversaw the official contract signing for the Tribal Combat match between Reigns and Fatu at Clash in Italy.
Fatu admitted that Reigns helped make the Bloodline the biggest family in wrestling, but said it was now time for change. He accused Reigns of breaking the Bloodline code during their previous match at Backlash and promised to destroy him in Tribal Combat. In return, Reigns promised that if Fatu beats him, he will become the new leader of the Bloodline.
The segment ended with the two men shaking hands as they touched foreheads.
