AEW’s Young Bucks Raise Money for ALS Research in Honor of Rebel

AEW Executive Vice Presidents Matt and Nick Jackson, better known as The Young Bucks, recently used their platform to help a member of the AEW family during a difficult time. The duo hosted a special YouTube livestream that let fans interact with them and raised money for ALS research in support of Rebel.

Rebel announced in April that she had been diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). Since then, fans, wrestlers, and AEW officials have constantly offered their help and support.

ALS is a progressive disease that affects the nerve cells responsible for controlling muscles. Over time, it can lead to muscle weakness, loss of movement, paralysis, and breathing difficulties. While treatments can help manage symptoms, there is currently no cure.

The Young Bucks raise $3,000 for ALS research during livestream

During the stream, the Young Bucks answered fan questions about topics like their favorite matches, memories from Bullet Club, and stories from their Never Not Jetlagged travel vlog series. At the same time, they encouraged viewers to donate to ALS-related causes and kept fans updated on the fundraising effort.

By the end of the livestream, they had raised $3,000, with all of the money going to I AM ALS and its research programs. The Bucks stressed that every dollar raised would go toward supporting Rebel and the fight against ALS.

“A 100% of this is going to you, Rebel. We love you. We are thinking about you, and praying for you,” the Young Bucks said during the stream.

The Young Bucks’ fundraiser is just one example of AEW’s efforts to help Rebel following her diagnosis. Tony Khan had also spoken about Rebel’s condition and promised that the company would support her throughout her journey. Since then, AEW has launched several initiatives to raise awareness and funds for ALS-related causes.
