Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE continues to move forward. Now she has shared more information that includes an allegation against Nick Khan.
Grant shared a new post on her Instagram account that includes a deposition transcript from the ongoing lawsuit. It includes a screenshot of a transcript where former WWE Board of Directors member Michelle McKenna said that she believed WWE President Nick Khan was the one who tipped off the Wall Street Journal about Grant’s issues with McMahon.
The Wall Street Journal first broke the story that McMahon was being accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking in January 2024. The allegations eventually led to McMahon stepping down as WWE Chairman. He also sold the company to the group now known as TKO.
It’s worth noting that there’s no proof that Khan was involved, and that McKenna’s comments are still an accusation only. However, it is interesting that Grant shared the documents, and a former board member accused Khan of being involved.
Grant recently denied sending the anonymous emails that sparked WWE’s investigation into former chairman Vince McMahon.
Grant’s lawsuit was filed after McMahon broke their 2022 nondisclosure agreement about their relationship. Grant alleged that McMahon only paid $1 million of the $3 million agreed upon as part of the NDA.
According to a new legal filing, Grant, McMahon and WWE have jointly requested the court to move the lawsuit to arbitration.
