John Cena Featured On TODAY
WWE Superstar John Cena was recently the subject of an editorial on TODAY’s website, talking about his meeting with nine-year-old WWE fan Nick Santillo.
Cena originally met Santillo, who has hypoplastic left heart syndrome, last April during World Wish Day and the two reconnected at a recent Smackdown taping. Cena spotted Santillo in the crowd and ran up to greet him, and told TODAY he is inspired by Santillo. Cena said, “If my running up those steps and saying hi to Nick continues to encourage him to fight to get well, even in a small way, then I absolutely had to do it.”
