Indie Star Highlights What Advice TNA Gave Her After Her TV Debut

Rhiannon Jade looks back on her TNA experience.

Amidst her ventures in the United States, UK native Rhiannon Jade marked off her TNA debut in a match against former TNA Knockouts Champion Tasha Steelz. Admittedly, her three-day experience at TNA tapings in Nashville initially began in “fangirl mode” as Jade found herself surrounded by some of her childhood favorites, such as The Hardy Boyz and Nic Nemeth (formerly Dolph Ziggler). When it came time for her in-ring outing on TNA Xplosion, however, Jade locked in.

“After my match, I spoke with Tommy Dreamer and that was very cool and surreal,” she told WrestleZone’s Ella Jay. “Also watching him grow up, that’s so strange. He was really happy with the match. Kept telling me he was going to steal one of my moves. I was like, ‘I’ll allow you if you steal it. I’m not going to tell you no.'”

“Speedball Mike Bailey, he also watched it and he gave me TV feedback,” she continue. “Everyone backstage was really happy and positive with the match. [Tasha] said it was exactly what they needed, but the only thing that I got told was camera stuff … when you do this wait like four seconds because that’s normally how long it will take before they change the camera or something like that. So do something, hold it or stay looking in that one place, then change because that can get a nice beauty shot sort of thing. I would never have known that until you’ve said it. It’s really handy information for me because I would never have learned that in the UK because there is no TV deals in the UK.”

Coming out of her TNA debut, Jade continues to apply those camera tips in her work on the independent scene. Moreover, she feels reassured that TNA could potentially be her future home.

“I would love to go to TNA. Right now, I wouldn’t say no to anywhere because my ideal goal is to be wrestling full time. I like all the products. Just if I had to pick right now, I would choose TNA because having experienced it and being backstage there, everyone there is so nice,” she said. “Everything is so professional. The setup is great. There wasn’t a bad thing about that whole experience.”

Jade comments on Myla Grace and Harley Hudson joining TNA

Earlier in 2025, fellow United Kingdom natives Myla Grace and Harley Hudson officially joined TNA as Knockouts. Since then, they’ve often teamed together in the TNA ring.

“It’s nice knowing that [TNA] are signing people that are really good, but also people that are nice to work with as well,” Jade said. “I’ve wrestled with both Harley and Myla Grace before and they are both lovely girls. Also it’s cool to me knowing that I’m wrestling these people. It’s quite weird in the sense that they’ll wrestle me one weekend and then they’ll fly out to America. That’s so cool though.

“I would love for that to be me, but at the same time, I don’t hold any grudges or animosity towards it because I’m just happy that good people are assigned in these places. It makes you feel good knowing that you don’t have to throw someone under the bus or do anything bad to get signed, to get to work with some of these right people. You can play it the nice way; just do what you want to do and people pick up on it.”
