It’s not often that you hear an entire arena gasp or go completely silent in shock. But that’s exactly what happened when Asuka choked out Bayley with the Asuka lock to become NXT Women’s Champion. It was NXT Takeover: Dallas and Bayley came in strong, reigning for over 200 days as Women’s Champion.
The match itself was fantastic and it culminated with Asuka winning the top prize of the brand. She would go on to have a legendary 510 day run with the title, not ever losing it and extending her undefeated streak.
