WWE Hall Of Famer Reveals Sol Ruca’s Biggest Challenge As Champion

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has explained one of the biggest challenges Sol Ruca could face as her rise on the main roster continues.

Ruca made her main roster debut following WrestleMania 42. Since then, she has already shared the ring with stars such as Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, and Iyo Sky. This past weekend at WWE Clash in Italy, Ruca scored the biggest win of her career. She defeated Becky Lynch to capture the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, marking her first title victory on the main roster.

With plenty of fan support behind the rising star, Booker T recently shared some concerns about her meteoric rise over the last few months. Speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T discussed what he believes will be one of the biggest challenges for Ruca moving forward.

“I think that’s something that Sol Ruca is gonna have to really think about going forward, is being able to improvise. And I wish I would have got a chance to work with Sol Ruca on those improvisations and being able to know how to go out and do certain things to make everything come together.”

“She’s so talented, and the thing is, her having that meteoric rise in NXT, because, again, when you’re good at running plays, man, you can really, really look good. But when that play gets messed up, you gotta call an audible. That’s what you gotta still make look like it was supposed to look that way.”

Booker T warns Sol Ruca about major challenge after title win

He continued, “And I just think her being thrown into that deep water so early, again, it’s mistakes that she’s gonna have to make in order to be able to work on that next level. And that’s just facts. It’s no way to sugarcoat it and run around that or anything like that, but her talent is something that I really believe can help prepare her to that point.”

I look at her, I look at Tiffany Stratton, and it’s under that same light, under that same umbrella, coming from that NIL program, having so much athletic prowess. And you say, man, we got to get them in the gym. We gotta get them in the cave, you know what I mean? But again, they’re all gonna hit some bumps in the road. But congratulations, Sol Ruca.”
