Dustin Rhodes requested his release from WWE so he could compete at Double or Nothing against his brother Cody Rhodes. While both stars aren’t known to be in-ring technicians, they had the match of the night – one filled with emotion, psychology and an incredible story. Dustin Rhodes took it to a new level, showing that it wasn’t too late to have the best match of his legendary career.

The blood may have been graphic, but as shocking as it was, it truly added to the story and proved that blood, on the rare occasion, does have a place in wrestling. We’re not sure what his future is with AEW, but if that was his last hurrah, then what a way to go!
