WWE SummerSlam 2019: 5 Superstars Who Shined The Most

WWE SummerSlam 2019 saw the company string yet another incredible PPV out of seemingly nothing. Despite being the second biggest show of the year, WWE’s scheduling meant that they had less than a month to build to the show. Moreover, the card itself wasn’t the strongest, which resulted in a relative lack of hype.

However, as we’ve seen with Stomping Grounds and Extreme Rules, the relatively underwhelming and less-anticipated cards are actually the ones that end up delivering in a big way. If you exclude Super ShowDown, WWE hasn’t had more than one bad PPV this year. They’ve had lull periods but overall, they’ve managed to maintain interest via a string of great PPVs.

At SummerSlam, very few superstars were lackluster and almost everyone used the spotlight given to them to shine. However, there were some that stood out more than others and one who was in a league of his own. Here are the five superstars who shined at SummerSlam 2019.
