Edge vs. Mick Foley (Hardcore Match – WrestleMania 22)

Mick Foley has created stars out of The Rock, Triple H, Randy Orton, and Edge. He is truly the epitome of giving back to the business. The Hardcore Legend destroyed his body just to give fans and opponents their big moments.

Foley’s match against Edge at WrestleMania 22 is one of the best matches in both men’s career. This Hardcore Match had a lot of callbacks to ECW which ended up making it even better. Edge knew he had to defeat Foley at his own game to immortalize himself.

And he did!

Money in the Bank Ladder Match (WrestleMania 21)

Edge has been a part of some of the greatest ladder matches in WWE history. The former world champion made history in the iconic tag team TLC matches. His resume would only get better with a huge win in the first-ever Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania 21.

The match is remembered for the chaotic yet consistent action that went down inside the ring. All participants did everything they could to unhook the briefcase. Edge emerged as the Ultimate Opportunist after he put away Chris Benoit with some brutal chair shots to climb and unhook the briefcase.

The rest is history.

Vs. The Undertaker (World Heavyweight Championship Match – WrestleMania XXIV)

Edge and The Undertaker were the two top superstars on SmacDown in 2008. The feud kicked off after the Ultimate Opportunist cost the Phenom his World Heavyweight Championship match against Batista at Survivor Series 2007.

The duo would spend the next months in a heated feud. Taker earned the opportunity to face for the world title by winning SmackDown’s Elimination Chamber Match at No Way Out 2008. The main event of WrestleMania XXIV ended up featuring the Deadman and the Rated R Superstar.

This match was formulaic but executed well. Both men started off slow to really get the crowd to feel their every move. It featured plenty of near falls and some great offense by Edge. Taker would claim the win, extending his streak to 16-0 in the process.

Edge vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns (WWE Universal Championship Match – WrestleMania 37)

The build to his match was nothing but great. All three men had traveled different roads to WrestleMania 37. Roman Reigns entered as the reigning Universal Champion. Edge won the right to challenge the champion by winning the 2021 Royal Rumble. Bryan inserted himself into the match because he didn’t want to stop his pursuits for the top title.

The match itself was really well done. All three competitors told a great story inside the ring. Edge showed a side to him he hadn’t shown in years. The Rated R Superstar planted Jey Uso with an Edgecutioner on the steel steps following an interference. However, the challengers were never able to overcome the dominant champion.

This would be Edge’s second and final WrestleMania main event.

Tag Team Title Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match (WrestleMania X7)

WrestleMania X7 will forever remain the pinnacle of the Attitude Era. The historic pay-per-view event featured 11 matches at the Reliant Astrodome in Austin, Texas. On a show packed with non-stop action, the TLC match delivered the most iconic moments.

Edge & Christian, The Hardy Boyz, and The Dudley Boyz tore the house down with perhaps the greatest multi-man performance at a WrestleMania event. Every man showed up and showed out. Bodies were destroyed, tables broken, and chairs folded.

Edge and Jeff Hardy took things up a notch with the insane spear spot from the top of the ladder to one of the biggest pops ever heard in a match. Many have tried to recreate the spot but no one has been able to capture the magic those two men created that night.
