Miz/Truth

One Embarrasing Step Down

Yes, it's been said over and over. I said it in my "Cashbox" feature this week. But it should be said again. WWE needs to be reminded as often as possible that they need to do better.

The MizI'm not saying it's easy all the time to write great tv. But it's easy sometimes. It should have been easy with Miz and Truth. They were both over individually and came together in an unforced manner that worked. They compliment each other so well, whether it's through comic relief or the shades of aggression we've seen recently.

Miz gets beat by Cena on Monday and Truth unsuccessfully attacks from the crowd. Both men get left flat on their backs looking foolish. Now, who's ready for Survivor Series! Miz and Truth are apparently no match for Cena by himself, so it's hard to get excited about the Rock's inclusion into the match outside of the obvious.

If Miz and Truth were a credible threat like they should have been by now, this match would have had an entirely different tone to it. Now, it's ONLY about the Rock and Cena. Miz and Truth just seem to be there for show.

It's unfortunate. WWE seems to be going through the motions right now with very little desire to do more. Miz and Truth are the result of that lack of desire. Maybe it's lack of ability at this point.  Either way, it kind of sucks.
